We are looking for a self-driven Intern to join our IT PLM team for a period of six months.

The team is part of the IT Organization and is responsible for conducting IT projects for Siemens Wind Power.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work:

  • In a cross-divisional project aiming to implement PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes in the Wind Power Business as well as the regarding IT infrastructure
  • In close contact to the project managers (Business and IT)
  • With team members from different backgrounds (Wind Power Business, IT, Business Administration, ..)
  • With both young as well as very experienced team members
  • Create your personal network throughout the whole Wind Power Business as well as corporate units
  • Gain knowledge in project management and reporting as well as quality management in projects

What are my responsibilities in this position?

  • Supportíng with PMO (Project management office) tasks and Quality Gate Readiness Checks for IT-Projects Coordinating and executing small tasks
  • Managing and maintaining data that are relevant for KPI (Key performance indicator)-monitoring in project management
  • Managing documents
  • Updating master data
  • Supporting projects across different departments
  • Preparation of presentations for the upper management of Wind Power and IT
  • Other ad hoc tasks for the team

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You are enrolled in a relevant higher education on Bachelor or Master level and have passed the first semester with good results (please attach your grade transcripts and write the expected graduation date in your CV)
  • You are an advanced user of MS Office and have a flair for IT systems in general
  • You are a team player, goal oriented, self-driven and well-structured
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English both orally and in writing
