Kamstrup is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of intelligent meter solutions for energy and water consumption. As an intern for Full Stack Development you will play an important role in our customer projects. Here you will become part of a DevOps team of developers and student programmers, which develops tools for project managers in the IT and Engineering departments.

In the team, we are working to optimize the cross-communicating systems internally in Kamstrup, thus helping to ensure proper communication with the customer. You will also be part of a multidisciplinary development group that develops and implements software solutions in actual customer projects.

An internship with focus on software development​
Your primary task during the internship will be to code, and implement the tools you have developed together with the users. Expect that half of your time is spent on frontend development and the other half doing backend development.

You will be involved in all phases of development. Thus, you will come to know all facets of the job as a software engineer in Kamstrup. In the beginning, you will get an introduction to our systems and you will get a small task to work on. After this, you will get a bigger project that you have to work on yourself or possible together with another intern. During these projects and tasks, we will have code reviews and you will continuously get feedback on your work. You will get the opportunity to practice project estimation and planning of your projects.

You will become part of a team with extensive experience in development where the possibility of knowledge sharing is great. In addition, we have had several interns through time, which means we can give you a good start and a good stay at Kamstrup. You will be assigned a mentor in the group that you can always go to with questions.

During the internship, you will become acquainted with the following:

• C#, WPF (Caliburn micro)
• Visual Studio
• Git (Bitbucket)
• Jira
• Web services

You are fluent in English – both oral and written. Danish will be an asset, but not a requirement.

We are looking for an outgoing and communicative strong intern who, with their dedication and updated theoretical knowledge, can help optimize software solutions in Kamstrup. You are in the process of becoming an ICT/software engineer and are looking for an internship where independent learning under responsibility and development is at the top.

As a person, you have a big personal drive and you are good at solving problems independently. You also appreciate cooperation and professional sparring with your colleagues and are willing to work with various development projects. We highly emphasize your personality in the application and how you can fit into the team.
