We are currently looking for a medical device project coordinator with a technical background to support product development projects. You will be a part of the Innovation Project Management team within Global Innovation where your primary focus will be to support project managers in their daily tasks as well as supporting PMO director with portfolio management activities.
At our headquarters in Ballerup, where we develop many of our new medical devices, we have great innovation culture and a clear focus on fast time to market. We focus on developing new products and production processes that combine several technologies in new and innovative ways. This sets high demands to your project management skills, business and technical understanding, and broad medical device development experience.

Global, user-driven innovation – from idea to launch
As Innovation project coordinator, you will be a key player in the development of our new devices - from initial idea and throughout to implementation in one of production sites, launch to the market and subsequent follow-up. We work according to an Ambu developed agile phase-gate model which we call the Product Innovation Process. Our work includes a high degree of user and customer involvement and a part of the job is therefore to meet the medical professionals at their locations in operating rooms, intensive care units or pre-hospital settings. One of your main tasks  will be establish a motivating and collaborative working environment in the global project team. You will have close collaboration with many stakeholders globally and especially with the assigned Project Sponsor Team – a project specific team of 4 cross-functional managers that guides and supports you and the project.

Experience in the medical device industry and interest in project management
It is key that you have experience in product development within the medical devices industry. You should have a good understanding of medical devices regulation and design control. You should be confortabe with data analysis (powerBI), communication tools (sharepoint, microsoft teams,) and you are driven by continuous improvement. 

As a person you are self-motivated, independent, pro-active, structured, data-driven and have a strong sense of responsibility towards your work and your team members. You are open-minded, show initiative, agility and you use your great communication and interpersonal skills in your daily work to support the projects and PMO organization.
You probably hold a degree in engineering and have technical work experience 

Previous experience with leading projects/teams or working in cross-functional team within medical devices is recommended
It is a requirement that you are fluent in oral and written English and that you thrive in a position that gives you the opportunity to travel about 30 days per year.
