Do you want to be part of creating a sustainable workplace in the offshore wind business in partnership with our suppliers? 

Join us and become Head of Supplier HSE Management in HSE Product Lines where you’ll be responsible for leading a team of eight employees whose main responsibilities are to optimise value creation through business development initiatives, to mitigate HSE risk in the project portfolio and to secure proactive and efficient management of HSE planning. You’ll also be responsible for a category in the supply chain. Supplier HSE Management supports the Offshore business unit by delivering HSE initiatives to Category Management. The team ensures that all HSE aspects are considered during the tender process and supplier negotiation. You’ll also be part of projects to develop HSE standards in our future wind farms with internal and external stakeholders. 

Your key tasks will be to 

  • ensure that HSE targets and objectives are set for all supplier categories  
  • implement corporate and business unit-related HSE requirements and standards  
  • develop and drive the design of HSE behaviour for the supply chain  
  • ensure implementation of HSE improvement initiatives across supplier categories  
  • be responsible for your employees’ personal management and development.  

You’ll also provide leadership and guidance on strategic sourcing standards, governance structures and efficiency levers to ensure that contracts are implemented in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner at our wind farm sites. Furthermore, you’ll develop and execute yearly HSE plans with the team and relevant stakeholders to meet demand and deadlines at all wind farms and cross-portfolio categories.  

Your competences include that you 

  • have demonstrated successful leadership of people 
  • have extensive experience within Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) from a relevant industry 
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks 
  • speak and write English fluently 
  • thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders. 

Furthermore, you’re capable of developing and implementing strategies across a large corporate organisation, utilising your competences as change leader, and driving change processes involving both the internal organisation and subcontractors’ organisations.  

As you’ll communicate extensively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, it’s essential that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey your messages smoothly and efficiently to your business partners, also in situations where you’re presenting and speaking to large crowds. 

As a person, you’re a strong people leader, and you’re good at creating cross-organisational networks at all levels in a large matrix organisation. You have a high level of integrity, and you’re passionate about what you do. In addition, you value working in a team that’s focused on delivering the results expected.
