For our Global Process Engineering department in Siemens Wind Power Blades we are looking for committed and motivated process experts in the areas of manufacturing of composites.
You will be part of a global team of Process Engineers working on developing and optimizing blade manufacturing processes.

About the role
You will be responsible of development of manufacturing technologies for offshore Wind Turbine Blades within the area of premanufacturing of blade components and layup of materials for blade casting.

You will be working with concept development and testing of process, material and equipment in a technology workshop and in serial blade production. Furthermore, you will in responsible of implementation in serial production including global roll out, when solutions are matured.

As Global Process Engineer you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholder from Blade design team, to global tooling design and local plant engineers. 

About you
You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Composite Engineering, Material Sciences, Manufacturing Technology or you have acquired your skills in alternative ways. Preferably you have knowledge about composites and VARTM and knowledge about turbine blade manufacturing and design

You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. You are experienced user of MS-Office and preferably you have experience with CAD/CAM systems and automation.

You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview. You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization.
