Siemens Gamesa is looking for a Solutions & Strategy Manager for Minor Component in our Global Overhaul Services function. Global Overhaul Services is a recently built strategic global function  at  Global Spare Parts and Supplies, Services. This department was born with a strong conviction to make Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) the market leader in refurbishment business both for SGRE and OEM fleets.

How to contribute to our vision
Our vision is to become #1 in the market and customers 1st choice and one stop shop for components refurbishment, reducing the cost of maintenance generating knowhow that can be converted in customer value.

In order to contribute to our vision you will be leading a team of engineers specialized in Minor Components to:

  • Ensure the close cooperation of the Global Overhaul Solutions team with TE in the creation of: FMECA (Failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis),
  • Lead the elaboration and implementation Technical Specification and Work instructions for Refurbishment of the WT minor components
  • Coordinate the elaboration of tools and test bench specifications, validation and global roll out
  • Work with Operations and Aftermarket to understand the customer and market demands per region in terms of refurbishment of the WT components for SGRE and oOEM
  • Determine overall refurbishment strategy based on technological and business drivers
  • Ensure the creation of efficient Cost & Price Structure and Policy for Refurbishment Portfolio securing Reliability and Quality
  • Collaborate in the set-up of the SCM & Material Flow
  • Assure the alignment of the refurbishment portfolio and management with Sales Contracts and Warranty Conditions
  • Define the Supplier Strategy: Make / Buy; supplier definition based on overall refurbishment strategy

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

The ideal candidate should have, at least 5 years of experience in Project Management and international team management experience, bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration, MBA is a plus. Additionally, strong interpersonal and English communication skills – verbal and written. Spanish is a plus.

Attitude is the multiplier; confident and capable of working in a multicultural environment with good analytical and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience on remote team management and change management is highly valued.
