Chr. Hansen Tech/Operations Graduate Program
Chr. Hansen’s newly established Tech/Operations Graduate Program is a full-time, two-year learning journey where you get introduced to our global operations setup through working in one of our Food Culture & Enzymes plants and with exposure to global projects and processes.  But it will not end there. After the program, we will offer you a permanent position tailored to your competences.

We are looking for Engineering or Manufacturing talents for one of three future career tracks all of which are key to ensure our global success: Deep production specialist (individual contributor), project manager or Line people leadership. During the program, we will work with you to identify which of our three career paths is the right one for you to follow further onwards.

Three rotations in two years
During the program we will take you through three job rotations, with at least one based in your home country and at least one abroad.

The 1st rotation will be kicked off in your home country within one of our local Food Cultures & Enzymes plants. From day 1 you will contribute in a ‘real job’ side-by-side with your local production team colleagues, focused either on continuous improvements, supporting the production process, or on getting product out the door for our global customers.

In the 2nd rotation, you will get an assignment with one of our global teams which strive to ensure that we have robust, integrated processes across all plants and distribution centers. Examples of such teams are Global S&OP, Global Logistics, Global Process Management Group and Global PMO.

In the 3rd round, you will work in an international assignment either at another plant or with a global process team outside your home country.

No matter where you go you will experience a team based, non-hierarchical and agile work place. We are proud to promote an inspiring and safe work environment and a collaborative culture full of passion to make a difference.

What we offer

  • A unique work experience in a global company where your opinion matters
  • A culture that is characterized by entrepreneurial spirit, ambition and great trust in each other, so you will have every opportunity to unfold your skills and create results that truly create value.
  • A work environment with strong team spirit where cooperation and respect are the top priorities.
  • A cross-functional job opportunity that you can take part in several concrete and innovative projects.
  • A steep learning curve and the opportunity to build a manufacturing/production career with the most sustainable company in the world (2019 ranking).
  • Assignment of a personal mentor during the whole program.

Who are we looking for?
You have graduated within the past 18 months from a technical university.

As a person you are open and curious and it’s natural for you to create relations through a helpful and proactive approach. As you will take on a role that branches into several teams it’s essential that you are a team player with an open mind to new ideas and ways of doing things. At the same time, you have a pragmatic and holistic work approach, thinking always about your colleagues, our business and our end customers. Last but certainly not least, you have a can-do attitude, gumption and are not afraid to challenge status quo and make a difference.

Who are Food Cultures and Enzymes and what do they do?
You will be a Graduate in our Global Operations business unit working on our Food Cultures and Enzymes (FC&E) plants. The FC&E plants supply bacterial cultures to the pharmaceutical industry as well as the global dairy and wine industry.
