For our Headquarter in Denmark (Hillerød), we are looking for a Global Market Manager to join our ambitious group of people in Market Management. You will drive the global marketing planning and execution for FOSS’ Feed & Forage business and help us reach our ambitious growth targets. 

The job and the team
As Global Market Manager for the Feed & Forage segment, you will be part of the Market Management team in Global Marketing. The team is responsible for management of FOSS’ core markets and the work includes portfolio- and product lifecycle management (e.g. launch, rejuvenation and pruning); pricing; sales channel optimization and support (e.g. training and sales tools); and promotion (e.g. exhibitions, campaigns). As Market Manager, you will chair the Feed & Forage Segment Management Team where you work in close collaboration with representatives from Business Development, service and R&D to grow the Feed Business in FOSS. We also work in close cooperation with FOSS’ global sales and service companies and Corporate Management.

The job requires approximately 50 days of travelling - split between FOSS sales & service companies, exhibitions and customer and partner visits. 

Primary tasks
On a day-to-day basis, you will lead the commercial operations for FOSS’ Feed & Forage business across customer segments. Your main tasks will be centered around the development of the Global Marketing Plan and execution hereof, meaning you will set the direction for the business on a global level and in close collaboration with FOSS’ sales and service companies. Your tasks will vary from re-pricing initiatives and go-to-market planning for new products to the development of sales tools and training of sales representatives, all depending on the marketing plan and strategy set out by you. Ad-hoc tasks such as deep dive analyses and strategy support to subsidiaries will occur from time to time. Furthermore, you will be key in the development of the long-term strategy and portfolio roadmaps in close collaboration with your colleagues in Business Development and Research & Development. 

Profile

  • Experience from a business-to-business environment is required. Experience from agro-business is an advantage.
  • You probably have a Master’s degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
  • +7 years of experience from commercial role (Global Marketing Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Manager, Business Unit Manager, Management consultant or similar)
  • Experience with- and demonstrated skills of using market and product management tools (e.g. Market & product plans, financial reports, market reports etc.)
