Front End Development Internship (Progressive Web App)

With PackitUp you can find travel buddies and awesome trips all around the world and not only find great people, but also the best locations anywhere on our planet. And right now we are looking for an IT development intern who wants to deepen their front end app development skills. We want to grow as a team and build the best product we can, so we are not only looking for a short internship deal but want someone who might want to join us in the long term!
What we do: PackitUp is a social network for travelers all around the world. You can find travel buddies and people to meet up with by posting trips on a map-based interface. By browsing the trips or creating your own, you can find travelers, check out their profiles and get in touch with an in-app messenger. PackitUp consists of three platforms: iOS, Android and a web app.

What we are looking for: We want one or two development interns to work with us on improving our web app and support us in our progressive web app development. Knowledge about JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API integration are a bonus, but a drive to work with us as a team, continuously learn and develop an outstanding platform is what we are mostly looking for.

This is what you will be dealing with:

• vue.js framework web app development
• HTML, CSS, JS
• Progressive Web App
• Google APIs
• Firebase Database Integration

We want to grow together with you and not only cash in on the free labor, so if you like working with us and we make great progress, we'd love to know you on board! Since we are still a small company, you can decide how much you want to work on. Just create code for the app? Great! Also develop our UI and IT infrastructure? Awesome! Have a look at our native apps? Terrific!

We are located in Copenhagen, but if you are traveling the world or located elsewhere, we have a ton of experience in our virtual office and welcome nomads from anywhere on the team!
