Would you like to be part of a creative and collaborative work environment, where you get to apply your strengths in developing new and improved UPS solutions? Do you thrive being on the forefront of new technology? And do you want continuous personal development based on your interests and be part of a global organization?

Make a difference at Schneider Electric
Schneider Electric in Kolding, Denmark, is a global development and knowledge center focusing on product development of 3-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions, just like we develop software for designing and monitoring data centers. Here, you work in an open office space as part of the Development team.

Be our embedded software expert on development projects
Working in a scrum team on projects, you create unique UPS solutions. You take part in daily Scrum meetings and collaborate closely with 8-10 team members with different specialist backgrounds. You operate on various platforms - DSP, ARM, soft cores, FPGA and SoC, to name a few.

You primarily work with embedded programming. Furthermore, your areas of responsibility span from real time design and monitoring to controlling hardware and communication protocols. While creating new and exciting features with your colleagues, you ensure that we test our solutions in the optimum way and always keep an eye on reaching our milestones.

Be part of a collaborative and creative environment
You get to take part in a creative environment, where you collaborate with experienced and professional colleagues, as you cooperate on solving exciting tasks that influence our entire business unit. Sparring and knowledge sharing are essential parts of your day, just like you get to be part of our social activities like running and MTB clubs. And you get unlimited access to our fitness facilities and meditation room.

Engineer, who enjoys cooperating with colleagues from across the globe

  • You have a relevant Engineering degree - preferably in combination with a few years of experience designing and programming embedded systems (micro controllers or DSP)
  • Doing so, you have learned how to test embedded software and therefore you might have experience in automated test.
  • Furthermore, you have experience with C programming and maybe VHDL
  • And you know the basics of hardware, allowing you to hook up your newly developed software to our hardware
  • You are good at working independently.
  • Full English comprehension, written and orally, is a prerequisite

Personally, you keep your eyes on the target, meaning that you always work towards finishing the project while emphasizing quality in the process. As you work closely with internal and external colleagues from across Schneider’s global organization, it is essential that you have the intercultural curiosity it takes to build relations across borders, always helping your colleagues the best way you can. Here, your ability to find flaws and correct them comes in handy.
