Can you secure high control and structure of project documentation and related processes?
We are looking for a new colleague to join our project office team in the Fjernbane West project - the project responsible for the introduction of new signalling technology in the West Region, i.e. Jutland. The project is supported by an international supplier base and consultants from across Europe.
The Danish Signalling Programme, as the largest of its kind in Europe, is fully engaged replacing the old signalling system on the Danish railway with new computer-based signalling technology. The system is aligned with the European standard, European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS). Replacing the system on the entire railway makes Denmark the first country to implement ERTMS on a national scale.
Your place of employment will be at our headquarters in central Copenhagen.
Documentation and processes
As a Documentation Manager you will ensure timely delivery and approval of the project documentation, ensure its hand-over from the project to the rest of the organization and maintain the documentation processes.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Supplier documents control including the customer’s review/approval workflow and publishing of documents.
- Supplier drawings control including the customer’s review and approval workflow.
- All quality activities related to handling of the document and drawing review process, for instance, carrying out review of document planning list, drawing planning list, review logs, and raising non-conformities.
You will manage the handover of the technical documentation of the project and make sure the project documentation processes are aligned with the Signalling Programme requirements.
You will be our Super User within SharePoint Online - the platform used for document sharing, collaboration and management - and take care of tool management for SharePoint Online project sites. You will be responsible for managing Sharepoint and ProArc users among the project resources.
Engineer with analytical skills and structured approach
You probably hold an engineering degree or a degree in the humanistic or commercial field, and you have experience handling technical documentation. It is an advantage if you already have experience with large industrial development projects.
On a more personal level, we are looking for a team player with analytical skills, a structured and detailed approach as well as good communication skills. At the same time, you can work independently and towards given tasks and deadlines.
The role includes communicating with colleagues of many different nationalities. Our working language is English (both written and spoken), and documentation is mainly in English and Danish.
You will be employed in relation to the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning Academics in the state sector concluded between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
