Data Engineer for building data foundation for risk management platform
Would you like to be a part of the green energy transformation by providing the best data foundation for risk management and regulatory compliance?

Join us and become Data Engineer in Risk Models & Development where you’ll primarily be working with ensuring the flow of exchange transaction data and maintaining our new Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) setup. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for building the best possible solutions for storing and analysing the data. The position within the team is newly established, so you’ll take part in shaping it. The Risk Models & Development team is responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining our in-house platform for our group-wide risk management activities.

Your key tasks will be to

  • build and maintain a suitable data structure to enable storage of data
  • convert raw data feeds from trading platforms to standardised data (ETL)
  • maintain a user-friendly alert setup coded in SAS based on the stored data
  • ensure that the entire team benefits from the knowledge you bring to the table.

Your competences include that you

  • have a master’s degree in IT, economics, finance or similar
  • have strong capabilities for data management, IT and programming
  • have experience with large-scale data engineering, preferably in SAS
  • have experience developing and maintaining databases, preferably SQL
  • are motivated by building fit-for-purpose solutions for any problem, aiming for just the right complexity in the delivered product.

The role will require you to take main responsibility for the new MAR setup. This means that you’ll be required to work on your own, but with necessary sparring from your highly skilled colleagues. Furthermore, the position as the sole Data Engineer in our team means that you’ll also be responsible for sharing knowledge with the entire team, raising the bar for all deliveries.
