In your role as Cloud Engineer in Novozymes, you will work on designing and establishing solutions that can facilitate data-driven decision making at all levels in the organization. You will gain a broad business understanding of Novozymes globally and you solve challenging business issues through engagement with stakeholders across all management levels in Novozymes.

You will work with a team of highly skilled cloud engineers and experts in a newly established department, utilizing the newest emerging technologies in an agile environment and together with the team you are the ones setting the direction for use of cloud data platforms in Novozymes. Furthermore, supports and deliver the team cloud and/or open source tools to support Novozymes Business units on IoT and Big Data initiatives.

You will be a key contributor in designing and developing cloud data services to support these initiatives and to support this, you are given the opportunities to broaden your knowledge and strengthen your technical and professional skills to make you grow professionally and control your own career path.

Your main responsibilities are building, maintaining and improving infrastructure and processes with use of governance and security principles and furthermore, designing, building, deploying and operating of Cloud Data Platforms for big data initiatives in Novozymes and for solutions that enables the use of loT for harvesting sensor data in production processes in the cloud.

You will among other things be working with AWS and/or Azure, Linux/Windows system administration and backend development. On-premises technologies as VMware, OpenStack or Hyper-V and IoT/sensor-to-cloud and continuous integration/continuous deployment environments.

In this position you need to:

• Hold a BSc or MSc degree in a technical field.
• Have a curious, self-driven personality, who thrive working with complicated problem solving.
• Being good at building up new competences in an independent and motivated manner.
• Have excellent English oral and written communication skills.

You are a highly motivated candidate eager to learn how to build and operate cloud applications and you demonstrate a high level of commitment.
