CAD/PDM Specialist - for the global rollout of the ambitious project OneEngineering.

Who are we?
The OneEngineering program is a global program launched in the after wave of an organizational change program OneGEA which represents a revitalization of the way we organize ourselves in GEA. The program aims to streamline engineering tools as well as core business processes and promote best practice. We focus on both operational excellence and the development of future processes and tools. The program is performed using agile methodology to achieve benefits faster.

We operate the program OneEngineering globally, and the main management departments, together with the core of the project management team are located in Søborg, where GEA has its largest Nordic office.

All the projects in the program are global, and therefore the target group is GEAs entire operations. Taking this into consideration, the projects are both technical as well as transformational and impact a major part of GEA's approximately 18,000 employees. In 2017 we initiated a number of projects within standardization, optimization and development regarding our business processes, as well as the tools and platforms we use. So we have a lot of exciting tasks ahead.

Hence, we in the Technical Domain department are looking for a new colleague, a skilled CAD/PDM Specialist.

The vacancy is in the team, Technical Domain, which is part of the IT department and where we support the global roll-out templates for the new OneCAD-cloud solution. The global implementation of the project is carried out in a blended team of 20 specialists.

You will be part of the implementation of new CAD/PDM solutions in close collaboration with your colleagues in the team.

Your qualifications
We see a candidate with several years of experience with CAD/PDM in Autodesk software such as Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical and Vault Professional - most likely as an experienced CAD administrator, super user or CAD/PDM consultant. You could have experience working with global projects in a large international company. It would be a huge plus if you have experience from IT projects in an Engineering organization.

You have strong interpersonal skills that you use to mediate the common agenda in an intercultural organization. You have the ability to close the gap between different opinions, and know how to communicate change successfully in a global organization.

Your key personal competencies
It is clear that you are driven by results and that you have a focus on targets and project plans. You have a focused drive to proactively seek solutions when faced with challenges. You have strong communicative skills - in English and preferably also in Danish that you use to interact with the business and your stakeholders.

Your everyday assignments
You will prepare activities and estimate the necessary detailed implementation efforts. It is expected that you implement and identify activities during analysis, design, configuration right up to completion of all test phases and technical deployment.

On the more practical side, you will coordinate or participate in the solution documentation phases for template and roll-out. You will identify requirements for data synchronization while communicating with the business and act as support to the business when needed. The job contains 20-30 travel days per year.

The technical part of the job is the main focus, but for the right candidate a team lead role is an option.

What we offer
We offer an exciting working environment in an open and international team of highly skilled and qualified colleagues. Here your qualifications will be valued and we provide good opportunity to grow your competencies with like minds. We are a company that provides favorable opportunities as well as good possibilities for continued education.
