Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) is responsible Novo Nordisk’s outsourced production. The primary role of GCM is to manage the production and supply chain activities of external manufacturers delivering high quality products to patients all over the world. You will be based in GCM Business support, which is responsible for driving and facilitating cross-departmental processes and projects to support the core business of GCM. We work closely together with the Management team to identify and execute strategic projects with the purpose of improving processes and increasing transparency in a complex setting. We are a team of 11 dedicated colleagues with an international mindset, who value humour and team work. You will join our group of 6 interns and student assistants working closely together to execute tasks and share knowledge.

The position
You will be part of the Business Support team, and you will also work in close collaboration with all departments in GCM (Logistics, Operations, Project Management, Quality Assurance) . You should expect to be involved in a broad variety of activities both within projects and operational processes. The nature of a Business Support department is that recurring processes and ad-hoc assignments goes hand-in-hand, so as an Intern you should be ready to take on different kind of tasks with varying complexity. You will be in dialogue with many stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and get insight into some of the core processes related to handling of external manufacturers. Some of the activities you may be involved in are operational projects, setting up internal reporting databases and support optimization of internal processes.

You can expect to be involved in various tasks, which to the degree possible will be related to your study, experience and preferences. You will receive continuous feedback on your work and we will support you in building a network beneficial to your professional and personal growth.

  • Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility of a 6 month extension)
  • Working hours: The internship position is flexible 18-37 hrs per week
  • Start date: Aug 1 or as agreed
  • A Danish full time work permit is required
  • Enrolment in a Bsc. or Msc. is required
     

Qualifications

You are a Bachelor or Master Student in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Engineering, Business Administration or similar. You have a structured and analytical approach to assignments and like to take on new challenges. You are ambitious, have a high level of drive and a “can-do-attitude”. You take initiative and have a good understanding of complex processes. You cooperate in a professional manner with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and bring a positive attitude to the department and projects you work on. You are fluent in English and a highly experienced user of MS office. You get energy from delivering results and have a willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
