Hansen’s on-going, global success we are continuously expanding our production capabilities - and automation and IT in combination are cornerstones in that business critical operation. That is why we need you to join our dedicated production IT Infrastructure team on their way towards new, global successes. Development, learning and impact are key words in this position.

New solutions from first idea to implementation and follow up
As Automation Specialist you will develop and maintain IT infrastructure and systems in our global production environment - and you will do it as part of an experienced and well-functioning team with a solid track record. You will:

• Further develop our IT infrastructure and systems - stability and durability
• Design smart standard solutions and deploy those across sites - from first idea to final implementation and follow up
• Create documentation to support the standardization process

You will be based at Chr. Hansen’s biggest site in Avedøre, Greater Copenhagen. You can look for to travel approx. 30 days per year to meet colleagues and partners at various sites, primarily in Europe and secondly in the US and South America.

Understanding of automation and IT in combination
You have a technical degree and a good understanding of automation. This is backed by IT knowledge within Network, Servers and virtual solutions (WM-Ware), hosting MES, SCADA and/or similar systems. As long as you have a foundation and genuine interest we are ready to invest in you via profound on-the-job training and coaching. As part of this you like to be inspired and gradually expand your knowledge e.g. by use of YouTube.

You like to be part of a team and you are not afraid of bringing your ideas to the table. Related to this, you have the overview and stamina to convert and idea to a full-scale functioning solution.

You will join a super team of two IT Specialists and one Automation Specialist - all working to create best-in-class solutions by bridging IT and automation technologies. We are highly successful and the ideas developed in the team are welcomed and approved cross-organizationally.
