Who you are

• You are innovative and curious and you like to find new solutions. You enjoy working with a network of skilled people in the transformation of technical opportunities to market trends.
• You are fascinated by the maritime business and the high request to quality, safety and environmental protection in the business. The international business atmosphere in combination with your knowledge of Maritime business and the different types of steam, oil, gas, and exhaust systems inspire you.
• You will take all opportunities and challenges to develop new creative solutions often in close cooperation with customers and cross functional.

About the job
As our new system and application innovation engineer, you will look at the optimal outcome of new technologies for improved performance for our customers. You will build up a solid network across companies and educational institutions. In addition to that, you will engage Alfa Laval Sales Companies worldwide in regards to innovation and create profitable customer concepts, packages as well as new ground breaking technological products.

What you know
Your background consists of a technical education - engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). You have a good understanding of the Maritime Business and you are experienced from R&D projects, handling both hardware and software tasks. You have a commercial talent to understand customer expectation in combination with new opportunities.

Working Experience
We expect you have worked within or related to the Maritime Business and that you are experienced in International cooperation.

You speak and write English fluently
