Software developer within analytics for Laerdal, a world leading provider of training along with educational and therapy products for lifesaving and emergency medical care.

Moment Professionals is looking for an experienced software developer who can join the core of Laerdal´s software development team EcoHub.

The job
Laerdal develops and delivers on both existing products and new platforms, using state of the art technology and a high degree of innovation. You will be an integrated part of the EcoHub software development, that is responsible for the company’s Content Service and the Analytics backend. Close to all Learning Content created by Laerdal Copenhagen, they deliver to customers around the world through the Content Service developed by the EcoHub team. The analytics backend is picking up data from the use of the content around the world and stores it for internal and external use.

The EcoHub team estimates more product releases and more data privacy laws to be aligned. This Scrum based team is a central part of the company’s transition to the cloud using MS Azure along with further utilization of microservices.

Your Profile
It is desirable you have a relevant background in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical education and you are expected to have at least +2 years of experience with analytics and machine learning. As Laerdal is a global company, it’s important that you have sound communication abilities and are proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Your professional profile includes proven track record of:

• Statistics
• Data modelling
• Data analysis
• Data visualization
• Machine learning  

You are not afraid to explore new areas and it is a plus with experience with several of the following:

• Backbone / Marionette
• Node.js
• AzureSQL
• HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript

Personal Skills
You are a responsible and ambitious team player, and you are quick to learn:

• You are structured, analytical and methodical
• You enjoy working in a disciplined way with Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
• You have a great deal of drive and strong commitment
• You like to work in a multi-disciplinary and cooperative environment.
• You have EU work experience and a Danish work & resident permit.
