AI Specialist for the Development of Robots for the Food Industry

Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup is looking for an AI specialist to support the development of innovative robot technologies based on machine learning. You will be become part of a highly specialized team working on projects that paves the way for the future of slaughterhouses. 

As an AI specialist you will be working towards bridging the newest research discoveries with the development stage and production. Your main focus will be on development and prototyping robotic solutions for food industry based on state-of-the-art machine-learning methodologies, in support of our future advanced robot cell product relying significantly upon AI.  

Your main areas of responsibility will include: 

  • Exploring advanced learning techniques such as imitation learning  
  • Designing the overall learning system from data collection to motion control 
  • Improving the system performance with online data

Specialist with experience in machine learning 
You probably have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Furthermore, you have experience and profound interest in AI, machine learning and robotics, as well as image processing algorithms, software design and architecture.  

You thrive in an environment with a high degree of individual responsibility and you take responsibility for the progress and quality of your projects. You can work independently but understand that cooperation is the key to successful solutions - and you are good at sharing your knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
