Can you impact the development of a new front-end to the world’s best radar systems?
In Weibel we develop the world’s most advanced and best radar systems to clients like NASA, Lockheed Martin and Danish Space Challenge. Now we have decided to develop a brand new front-end to ensure best-in-class user experience and usability for operators with very different skillsets. And that is why we need you and all of your skills within front-end development based on WPF/C#. You can look forward to highly exciting and challenging tasks and major influence and impact on all aspects from design to final solution.
Primary driver from first idea to final implementation
Yours and the team’s focus is to design, develop and implement a front-end that is super intuitive for the users and maximum easy for us to optimise and further develop after first implementation. Yours and your colleagues’ software enables radar operators to configure the radar, monitor and control the readings, collect data in real-time and handle and present data, e.g. in satellite launches and when monitoring large areas at land and sea.
Your tasks will be to:
- Be driver and developer of a brand new WPF/C# front-end
- Specify solutions in teams of 2-4 developers
- Carry out design and implementation of components in the overall solution
The new front-end is one of Weibel’s most important and prioritised projects in many years, meaning you can look forward to full support and attention at top management level.
Solid front-end experience including WPF, C#, APIs and UI
We are looking for two new colleagues that thrive on taking a leading role in business critical development projects. This calls for your ability to plan and carry out work independently and with attention to details - all the way from first idea to the solution is in use.
As you will join a small organisation it is also very important that you can create results via teamwork and knowledge sharing. We do not expect you to have specific radar knowledge as long as you are motivated for a steep learning curve - we have a tailored introduction standing ready for you.
Your professional CV comprises:
- A university degree with software focus
- Several years’ experience within front-end development based on WPF/C#
- Solid knowledge of APIs and UI as well as communication between C# and unmanaged C++ DLLs
- Experience with development of Windows applications
- Good communication skills in Danish and English
Your new team
At Weibel’s development department you will join approx. 30 highly competent and dedicated colleagues. We are 13 Software Developers and more on the way. We work in teams of 2-4 developers meaning that specification of solutions is a joint venture and the design and implementation is handled individually. Our shared focus on uncompromised quality is a cornerstone in everything we do. Good ideas are always appreciated and taken into consideration. Our work environment is informal and forthcoming - Weibel is simply a nice place to be.
