Do you want to be the person behind the software NASA uses for monitoring satellite launches?

In Weibel we develop the world’s most advanced and best radar systems to clients like NASA, Lockheed Martin and Danish Space Challenge. Now we have decided to develop a brand new front-end while we at the same time optimise and further develop our existing solution. And that is why we need you to join our software development team where you will get the opportunity to unfold all of your good C++ skills among highly competent and forthcoming colleagues.

Develop and implement software to control advanced radar systems
Basically, your focus is to make it maximum easy for radar operators to configure the radar, monitor and control the readings, collect data in real-time and handle and present data – e.g. in satellite launches and when monitoring large areas at land and sea.

In our new solution we separate UI and logic that will be placed in C++ DLLs. You will be part of the team that develop and maintain the DLLs that includes help functions, communication, logic and data calculations.

Your tasks will be to:

  • Develop and implement software to control advanced radar systems
  • Develop and maintain C++ code - for use in new and existing applications
  • Specify solutions in teams of 2-4 developers
  • Carry out design and implementation of components in the overall solution
  • Solid experience across C++ and Windows applications

You will be part of a small team with great responsibility meaning that you must be good at planning and carrying out your work independently, and at the same time be good at teamwork. We expect you to share our user centric quality mindset that enables you to keep track of details while ensuring that the end-user gets an intuitive and easy accessible solution at hand. We do not expect you to have specific radar knowledge as long as you are motivated for a steep learning curve - we have a tailored introduction standing ready for you.

Your professional CV comprises:

  • A university degree with software focus
  • Several years’ C++ development experience
  • Experience with development of Windows applications
  • Knowledge of parallel programming
  • Good communication skills in Danish and English

Your new team
At Weibel’s development department you will join approx. 30 highly competent and dedicated colleagues. We are 13 Software Developers and more on the way. We work in teams of 2-4 developers meaning that specification of solutions is a joint venture and the design and implementation is handled individually. Our shared focus on uncompromised quality is a cornerstone in everything we do. Good ideas are always appreciated and taken into consideration. Our work environment is informal and forthcoming - Weibel is simply a nice place to be.
