Sales and Market Developer
Is your professional expertise in flood risk analysis and climate adaptation? Or do you hold a successful track record on sales in advanced software solutions? Then joining our team of highly skilled computer scientists and geodata analysts may be of interest to you. We have developed an innovative and fast growing platform – SCALGO Live – that harnesses the power of detailed geodata, to enable effective work with flood risk in city planning, water utility design and infrastructure development. We are now looking for a colleague to join our journey and help us expand internationally by driving sales and customer relations in the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
The development of SCALGO’s revolutionary technology for analyzing big geographical data has been funded in part by the Danish National Research Foundation, the Danish Innovation Fund and the Danish philanthropic organization Realdania. Since launching SCALGO Live broadly in the Danish market in 2016 it has gained almost 2000 users within more than 50 organizations, including all major engineering consultancies, water utilities and municipalities in Denmark. In June 2017 SCALGO Live was launched in Sweden, and major Swedish consultancies and municipalities have already joined the platform.
As part of our ongoing endeavor in developing technologically innovative, relevant and valuable solutions for our customers, we are looking for a Sales and Market Developer for our Swedish and Norwegian market. Our new Sales and Market Developer is expected to both conduct and strategize the following tasks:
- Outreach and sales in the Swedish and Norwegian markets
- Customer education and support
- Market development through strong user and customer relations, and professional know-how
- Respond to tenders with written offers
You’re enthusiastic about geodata, flood risk analysis and the revolutionizing potential of detailed national elevation data. We are looking for a candidate driven by the search for new opportunities and capable of approaching market development strategically. You will work closely with our current Sales and Market Developer for the Danish market, but preferred candidates are comfortable driving their own sales proactively according to company sales budgets. You need to be able to understand the dynamics of the technology and the details in how the technology adds value to our customers. If you have a professional background in geodata and flood risk analysis as well as a professional network in the Swedish (and/or Norwegian) geodata industry, this will be an advantage. We also welcome applications from candidates with equal technological and/or sales experience in other industries and geographical areas. In addition, our new Sales and Market Developer needs to be fluent in spoken English and advanced in written English. The place of work can be adjusted according to the preferences of the selected candidate, so we encourage candidates from Denmark and Sweden to apply.
