Om NTNU NanoLab

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) creates knowledge for a better world and solutions that can change everyday life.

NTNU NanoLab is a 700m2cleanroom facility opened in 2009 and is a major part of NTNU´s strategic initiative for Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Functional Materials - NTNU Nano.

NTNU NanoLab is an open-access cleanroom for both academia and industry, equipped for nano-structuring and characterisation by physical, chemical and biological methods. On average 250 users from different scientific fields use the facility every year. NTNU NanoLab is part of the Norwegian national infrastructure for micro- and nanofabrication (NorFab), the Nordic Nanolab Network (NNN) and the European cleanroom consortium EuroNanoLab. The permanent staff includes the director, eight service and process engineers and the head of laboratory.
