Field Application Engineer for Copenhagen HQ Office

Teklatech A/S develops EDA software used by worldwide top-25 semiconductor companies working at the cutting edge of semiconductor technologies. Our backend SoC solution optimizes on-chip Dynamic Voltage Drop and routability; a sizable and expensive challenge at the 10nm process node and beyond. 
We are looking for a highly talented ASIC/SoC backend Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join us at our Copenhagen HQ office to support our customers’ physical design teams worldwide. 

The Job
The job is a customer-facing hands-on engineering position. As FAE you will support the customer’s engineers in implementing and using Teklatech's EDA tool FloorDirector, as well as operate FloorDirector, provide flow integration support and application scripting as required. The work with customers will be done at the customer premises, or working out of the Teklatech office in Copenhagen. International travels of typically 2-4 weeks length each is an important part of the job and a high degree of flexibility on this account is expected. 

You will take responsibility for supporting customers at a high technical level, working in close collaboration with Teklatech's R&D in Copenhagen in using our software tools, providing feedback for product features, reference design flows, user documentation and training material. You will work closely with our FAEs in California and India, and also be providing technical support to Teklatech’s sales and marketing team. 

You will be part of an international, dynamic team of highly skilled and specialized individuals and be involved in the pre- and post-sales support cycle of an exciting, innovative IC design optimization technology. A highly self-driven personality, with the capability to manage and prioritize technical as well as inter-personal processes, with many threads and stakeholders, is expected. The job entails around 50-100 days annual travelling in India, United States, Asia, and Europe. 

Qualifications 

A relevant academic background - probably Ms.EE. or similar.

2+ years post graduate work experience in the following disciplines:

• Digital ASIC/SoC physical design and implementation. 
• Place&Route (P&R), Static Timing Analysis (STA) and Power Analysis. 
• Linux scripting and Tcl. 
• Hands-on experience with dynamic power verification tools like RedHawk, Voltus or similar is a plus.
• Good, professional skills of English are a must.
• Flexible to travel internationally. Able to obtain US business visa.
• Self-driven personality. Able to manage complex processes and prioritize work tasks towards achieving overall goals.
