Would you like to be an important part of one of the largest investment programmes in Europe and implement our ongoing vision of supplying clean and reliable energy?

Join us as Contract Execution Manager and become part of our great team of professional contract managers in the department Components & Civil Works, where you and your colleagues will be responsible for CAPEX procurement and contract management of high voltage electrical components, SCADA and civil works contracts for our offshore wind farm projects. You will be responsible for the commercial handling of the contracts after contract signing and be the commercial glue between technical and legal matters. You will create value through close relations with your internal and external stakeholders.

Components & Civil Works is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind farms, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind farm projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.

You may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish offices in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or in Skærbæk near Fredericia or alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your key tasks will be to

  • improve processes and introduce industry best practice
  • handle internal and external stakeholder management
  • drive the commercial agenda in the execution of CAPEX contracts
  • resolve contractual claims and variations with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries at the right cost during the construction phase
  • lead negotiations with our suppliers
  • document claims and variation orders via our administrative contract management system.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you

  • have a proven record in execution of CAPEX contracts
  • have a proven record of delivering and managing large business critical contracts successfully
  • have knowledge of supply or construction contracts, preferably FIDIC in EPC projects, and experience with collaborating efficiently with many stakeholders from other in-house functions
  • have a cross-disciplinary background based on a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, law or engineering and commercial contract experience from procurement or sales
  • speak and write English fluently and have excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to convey your messages to your stakeholders efficiently, thereby ensuring maximum collaboration
  • have a positive and result-oriented approach to your tasks, and that your preferred way of working is structured and analytical.

Moreover, you thrive in a hectic environment where the only constant is change, and you enjoy managing your projects independently while maintaining good relations with your stakeholders. You contribute positively to the social environment in our young team.

We offer
A job in a dynamic and international organisation on a fantastic journey, focusing on delegating substantial freedom with responsibility to you as an employee. You will have unique opportunities to further develop your competences in an international environment nurtured by the company.
