Senior Commercial Manager

Would you like to take up the responsibility for negotiating the service and warranty agreements for our offshore wind projects?
 
Join us as Senior Commercial Manager in our SWA Negotiation & Management department where you and your colleagues will be responsible for defining the strategic objectives and specifications for our wind turbine service and warranty agreements and have the business lead in contract negotiations.
 
SWA Negotiation & Management is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.
 
You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Denmark and Europe in relation to your work.
 
Your key tasks will be to

• lead tender preparations and evaluation processes as well as negotiating service and warranty agreements for wind turbines towards the suppliers
• develop new and improved service concepts and implement best practice and contractual excellence for strategic sourcing agreements
• ensure efficient reporting to senior management
• ensure collaboration and alignment with key internal and external stakeholders
• ensure and drive the relation management towards the service suppliers in the market, eg Siemens and Vestas.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you

• have a master’s degree in law, business administration, economics or a similar educational background
• have a strategic and commercial mind-set and several years of working experience
• have experience with contract negotiation and project management and preferably also with service agreements or operation and maintenance of major assets as well as insight into offshore wind power operations
• have a result-oriented approach and work in a structured manner, enabling you to work both independently and in teams
• have an outgoing personality and strong communication, networking and influencing skills
• speak and write English fluently.
