Alstom is looking for an experienced Validation and Test Engineer (ETCS)
We are currently looking for a Validation and Test Engineer who will be a member of the Engineering Group in Copenhagen and be working on the onboard and trackside projects in Denmark. You will report hierarchically to the Engineering Manager and functionally to each project organization and have internal links with Project members in Charleroi and Bologna.
The job will be based in Copenhagen but short time travels to other Alstom offices, for example in Charleroi and Bologna, may occur.
Responsibilities
Within this role, your main tasks will be:
- Writing of test specifications and test criteria for trainborne or trackside sub-system acceptance in accordance with a predefined generic test strategy.
- To run the tests, analyze the results and write test reports according to the predefined test specifications (lab tests in the customer lab called JTL as well as on site on the Early Deployment Line).
- To formalize anomalies if any, to organize review to analyze anomalies and to request modifications if required in Clear quest.
- To carry out regression tests after anomalies correction in coordination with CRL/BOL offshore teams.
- To follow-up the setting of the test bench and tools to carry-out the tests.
- To schedule usage of the JTL, by participating to regular meetings with customer.
- To participate to the end of phase reviews / CCB with the customer.
Your profile
Educational Requirements
- Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) with specific training/experience in the fields of automatics, IT, electronics or other well suited degree/background
Desired knowledge/ Experience
- Experience from 3-5 years, in signaling systems engineering and especially ETCS
- Experience with both Alstom onboard and trackside ETCS products and their tests environment is a strong asset
- Knowledge of railways signaling systems is required
- Knowledge of ETCS is required
- Minimum of one experience in Test & Integration activities is required
- Good writing skills: Clarity, rigor and concision
- Danish language is an asset
