Sales Supporter for Propeller Sales & Project Support

For activities within propeller and aft ship systems MAN Diesel & Turbo in Frederikshavn is seeking a Sales Supporter, who will be part of our global sales team. Together with our sales managers you will project and offer MAN Alpha propeller and control systems globally for all vessel segments in both retrofit/upgrade and new sales projects.
 
As a member of a big team you will be part of the concern's competence center within propellers and propulsion optimization, advising, projecting and selling the concern's energy optimized propulsion solutions either in packages with the concern's engines or directly to yards and ship owners as "stand-alone" products.
 
Tasks:

• Project, calculate and prepare offers for optimized propeller and aft ship systems
• Cost/benefit calculations
• Contact to sub-suppliers for technical clarification of offers
• Internal project coordination
• Technical support for our Area Sales Managers, the external sales organization and our customers

Qualifications:

• You hold an education as machine technician, chief engineer or similar technical education, preferably with maritime experience, however this is not a requirement
• As a person you are outgoing and a good communicator
• You keep deadlines and have the ability to keep several balls in the air
• You are flexible and also thrive with cooperation in teams
• You master English in both writing and speech
