IT Project Manager

New influential position in growth aviation company
We are looking for an experienced and business oriented IT Project Manager for our client Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC). In this new position, the highly skilled IT Project Manager will have deep influence on the choice and management of all IT projects in the NAC organization world-wide.
 
It is vital that you understand the NAC complex business and have the ability to overview, evaluate and structure their various IT systems and programs - and thereby set your footprint professionalizing the entire organization. NAC is in rapid growth and work with the latest technologies. 
 
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is the world’s largest privately owned aircraft leasing company, having its headquarters in Billund, Denmark. At present, NAC’s diverse fleet includes 250 aircraft, predominantly turboprop and regional jets worth USD 3.1bn. NAC currently serves about 35 customers in 30 countries and has a strong global presence with offices in Ireland, Canada and Singapore. The company employs 125 people globally. In October 2015, NAC partnered up with the leading Nordic private equity group EQT and Kirkbi to accelerate the growth further.
 
In close cooperation with the IT Manager, you will have responsibility for the program management of IT Projects in NAC and thus have widespread contact throughout the organization. You will be involved in and be the driver of project processes from mission statement and requirement specification to implementation and execution.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Define scope, qualify ideas and carry through pre-analysis.
• Challenge stakeholders regarding opportunities and limitations when using own business insight.
• Prepare business case and project plan. 
• Plan, organize and execute projects as well as manage project budgets.
• Evaluate and follow up on learning aspects from the projects and continuously monitor the progress of projects.
• Communicate and report to stakeholders on all levels of the organization.
• Keeping deadlines and budgets.
• Secure harvest benefits of the project in departments affected after implementation.
• Do program management of IT projects

 
Professional and Personal Skills
We expect that you have 

• Background as either System Developer and/or IT-architect.
• Solid experience working with business systems, including ERP- and Data Management.
• Solid experience working with communication and business processes, preferably you have experience working with ITIL, Prince2 or similar. 
• Experience with project and program management (procedures and tools).
• Skilled communicator and used to handle conflicting stakeholders.
• Independently working but with team focus.
• Result oriented, curious and good at conflict handling.
• Able to transform complicated relations into overview and structure
• Good interpersonal skills, e.g. motivation of project participants.
• A good networker/able to build strong social relationships both internally and externally. 
• High degree of integrity and situational awareness. 

 
You will be a part of a small team in a fast growing environment, which demands that you are self-driven and have a structured approach. You take responsibility, are pragmatic, enthusiastic and have a good eye for details. Moreover, you have a positive and solution-oriented working style, and have excellent communication skills.
 
You are excellent at English, verbally and in writing.
