Do you have thorough understanding of IT and excellent skills in management? Would you like to be the IT Team Lead for one of our three local IT Teams in Denmark? And do you want to be part of an international company with a strong brand? Then this position could be the next step in your career.
We are looking for a person who would like to take up this challenging and developing position as IT Team Lead for our Eastern team that covers Hørsholm, Oslo, Helsingborg and Søborg.
Your challenges
You will be the manager for eight proficient and motivated employees and you will influence how the team execute and develop the performed support and IT infrastructure. You will have the business contact and responsibility for the Eastern locations including managing the local IT infrastructure and carrying out local execution of global project tasks.
In close cooperation with your employees, your manager and the two other local IT Teams in Denmark, you participate in ensuring execution and optimisation of end-user advice, guidance and IT support. This applies to all VELUX locations in Denmark such as factories, warehouses, technology and product development as well as administrative departments. Further, you must focus on security rules and compliance.
You participate in optimising the tools and processes used by all three IT Teams with special focus on IT support, infrastructure and the use of resources within local IT in Denmark.
You must expect 40 travel days per year in Denmark, primarily to Kolding.
Your qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a master´s degree within IT and have some years of experience from an IT function in a large, international company where you have gained solid knowledge with long-distance and people management.
You know the significance of planning activities and projects well with a high focus on quality and customer needs and by following rules and guidelines. As you will be working in a matrix organisation, this requires focus on a holistic approach and increases the need for being able to cooperate across functions and act globally.
On a personal level, you are a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude, and with your good sense of humour, you contribute constructively to teamwork. You have the ability to build lasting relations and you know how to motivate and influence others.
Competencies such as excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organisation, you must be fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
