Global HACCP Coordinator

For our Natural Colors Division (NCD) with base in Copenhagen (Avedoere), Denmark, we are looking for an independent Global HACCP Coordinator with a lot of drive, who is ready for new challenges in a dynamic company. You will be a partner to Innovation globally in NCD as a link between Innovation, Production and QA for full scale implementation of new products. You will become part of our global QA and Innovation organizations and the position reports to Product Quality Manager, Head of Color QA.

NCD is the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of Natural Color solutions to the Food and Beverage Industry worldwide.

Your overall role and tasks

• HACCP Evaluation of new products at implementation stage into our production sites in Denmark and Italy and assistance to other sites, in cooperation with developer and site
• Overall HACCP coordinator for Innovation (RD), becoming the main food safety specialist for Innovation - Close cooperation with Innovation in France, Denmark, US and other countries
• Full scale production instruction (SOP) review of new products with respect to HACCP
• Assist Site QA Manager in food safety evaluation of reformulated or optimized existing products
• Training of existing and new employees in RD in HACCP and related areas/systems
• Continuous improvement and optimization of systems and processes
• Secure effective cooperation and coordination within the department and with other stakeholders in the organization
• Some travelling, expected 20-30 days/year

Your personal profile

• You hold a M.Sc. in, Food Science, chemical engineering, (food) microbiology or similar
• Knowledge and min. 3 years working experience within Food safety management and HACCP analysis
• Knowledge of food safety standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000
• Preferably experience from working in food production and/or innovation
• Communication and presentation skills, training experience
• Systematic, customer and result oriented
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
