Project Quality Manager

Would you like to manage the overall quality of our offshore wind farms during development and construction?
 
Join us and become Project Quality Manager in the Wind Power Quality department which is overall responsible for the quality of our construction projects. You will become part of a team of project quality managers and project quality coordinators focused on improving the quality of our projects. As Project Quality Manager, you will be assigned to one of our major construction projects supporting the EPC Director in overseeing the quality assurance and the quality control of the project.
 
Wind Power Quality Management is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.
 
You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
 
Your key duties will be to

• define the overall quality ambition for the project in close cooperation with the project management team
• plan and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities within the project
• support the project management team with quality reporting and status reporting
• be escalation point for quality issues and nonconformities
• manage quality control of key deliverables.

In addition, you will contribute to the further detailing of the role and responsibility of the Project Quality Manager function as we develop and mature quality management in Wind Power.
 
Your qualifications and core competences include that you

• have a master's degree or similar within a technical or engineering discipline
• have extensive experience as Quality Manager in a major construction project, including implementation of a quality management system
• have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
• speak and write English fluently
• thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders.

We are implementing and intensifying a new focus on nonconformity reporting. It is therefore important that you have experience with management of nonconformities during project execution. You will be acting as the quality ambassador within the project and on a more general basis. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating workshops on quality and nonconformity reporting.
