Due to growing market interest, IHFood A/S - a growing profitable company - is looking for a talented and passionate embedded system developer for machine vision applications. 

Job Description
You will be part of an agile team of competent developers with a diverse background in electrical engineering, robotics, software development, machine vision and machine learning. Your tasks will - among others - be to:

  • Investigate optimal lighting e.g. select one or more wavelengths to provide maximum contrast for defects.
  • Select suitable cameras and lenses based on project criteria such as; object and artefact sizes, movement and environment. 
  • Design and integrate software and electronics for timing, triggering and sorting at the end customer.
  • Test and verify vision systems in production at the end customer.

Your Profile
Your background could be embedded systems, machine vision, electrical or automation engineering. Your qualifications should include: 

  • Strong background and experience with image acquisition e.g. CCD, CMOS, optics.
  • Experience with design of vision systems e.g. strobe and timing control, LEDs.
  • Practical experience with digital input and output types, interfacing with PLCs etc.
  • A fundamental understanding of the workings of operating systems and native code incl. interrupts, stack, heap etc.

Since we develop our vision applications for Windows, it is advantageous to have experience with:

  • Development of Windows software in .NET/C#/C++ using Visual Studio.
  • Experience with threading, immutability, synchronization primitives and structures e.g. semaphores, mutexes, wait handles and similar.

Additionally, we expect you to be:

  • Willing to learn new fields and technologies.
  • Co-operative, self-propelled and contributing to an excellent work climate.
  • Fluent in English and preferably in Danish.
