About the job
You will be working as the technical software design leader of an expert team that drives the development of future solutions within TETRA infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of software development from front-end requirement analysis to product realization and meeting milestones and customer expectation.
You are innovative, ambitious and willing to take challenging tasks together with your team in mission critical telecommunications systems at Motorola Solutions to meet the overall goal of delivering quality software to our customers and organization.
Our projects are mainly organized in small empowered teams of 4 to 6 people using agile software development methods and with focus on innovation and lean way of working.
Your profile:
- University degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of documented Software development experience.
- Expert in C/C++ development and/or functional programming (Erlang, LISP, etc.)
- Experienced in technical leadership of small development teams with 2 to 5 developers
- Experience with software development of mission critical applications
- Knowledgeable in real time software development and multi-site software configuration management principles and practices
- Experience with Data and/or telecommunication networks
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Multi-site and international teamwork experience
- Experience within one or more of the following areas will be an advantage
- TETRA ETSI standards
- Soft real time call processing software design
- Cloud based software solutions
- Software configuration tool like ClearCase or GIT
- Wireless Mobility management
- Linux with bash or shell scripting
