Technical Software Architect

For our Software and SCADA Team in the Technology Department in Brande we are looking for a skilled Software Architect.  The Technology Department in Siemens Wind Power is responsible for R&D activities within mechanics, electrical power and software. The Software and SCADA Team is responsible for the development as well as the optimization of software for turbines, SCADA system, various central systems etc. We work with agile methods (SCRUM) and you will to a great extend have an impact on your work day.
 
What are my responsibilities?

• The Software Department has development activities in both Brande, Ballerup, Hamburg and Bangalore (India). Your tasks will include coordination of projects between our Danish, German and Indian development teams
• You will be assigned to the project in the analysis and design phases and be a significant contributor to the requirement specifications, choice of architecture and assignments regarding design and solution specifications
• You will be the technical coordinator thorough out the whole development process ie in the development, test and deployment phases
• You will vouch for the technical quality of the project

 
What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have an educational background as an engineer, computer scientist or similar and extensive experience with software architect assignments
• You have excellent skills in the area of analysis and design of solutions based on c#.net - skills which are gained through years of working with development and programming of solutions
• You have experience with agile software development methods and tools as for instance SCRUM
• Experience with network, databases, SQL, SCADA systems (.Net) as well as real time systems (C++) will be an advantage
• You are focused, diplomatic and pragmatic
• You possess strong communicative skills orally as well as in writing - you are outgoing and good at passing on knowledge and information
• You possess excellent English skills both orally as well as in writing
