Experienced C# Software Developer to the renowned company Oticon A/S

Then you could be the C# software developer we are looking for to our client Oticon A/S.    

The job and key accountabilities
You will be working on our state of the art software platform for supporting Oticon's most modern and highly complex hearing instruments. Your tasks and responsibilities consist of developing and implementing high quality software in the Fitting Solutions team. You are involved in the whole process from requirement specifications over design and implementation to final test and documentation. The software is a Windows desktop application created in C#/.NET.

Professional qualifications

• You hold a degree at BSc or MSc level within software engineering, computer science or equivalent 
• You are a C#/.NET developer with solid programming and application development experience 
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• You have a broad knowledge about Microsoft technologies/ products like LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio
• You are fluent in English and Danish
• You have an understanding of the software lifecycle processes and strive to ensure constant care for architecture, code base and documentation
• It is an advantage if you have experience with Scrum and agile methodologies

• You have a will to learn and an eagerness to excel and develop your skills even more 
• You are self-driven and inquisitive, i.e. dare challenge solutions and ideas
• You thrive on having numerous stakeholders and collaborating closely with your team colleagues
• You are comfortable with an extensive interface where you strive in seeking the optimal and most competitive solution
• You thrive in a multisite, cross-cultural team and take pride in your craftsmanship    

The team in Fitting Solutions  
Fitting Solutions is an informal, agile team of 60+ highly skilled and dedicated developers, located across three sites, Denmark, Switzerland and Poland. The fitting application is used to adjust and demonstrate the hearing aids and the features in them. You will be working across teams with audiologists and other departments in the house, which gives an inspiring and creative work environment. You will be challenged and encouraged to share your knowledge, views and ideas in an ambitious and enthusiastic team where everyone sees software development as a team effort. The department prioritizes to keep the developers up to date on the needed skills and technologies, e.g. through education, relevant courses and conferences.
