About the Company and Department
Are you passionate about customer and technical support? Does it energize you to work closely with other people? If you can say “yes” to these questions we will be excited to receive your application.

You will be a part of new established team with eight motivated team members in an informal atmosphere. Your main task will be technical support and sales regarding boiler, burner, control panels and upgrades.

Your challenges and tasks
Secure customer satisfaction by understanding customers’ needs and transferring it into solutions provided by Alfa Laval.

You will work with a wide span of tasks ranging from planning, service delivery and customer contact to final documentation. Further, you will have a significant impact on our performance.

Your main tasks will be:

Make an active sales efforts and handling customer’s enquiry -primarily from Germany, Greece and Italy.
Project orientated sale e.g. Boiler repairs, control system and replacing burners/boilers.
Promote optimization solutions for Alfa Laval’ product portfolio in the respective region.
Provide technical and commercial support to our customers and internal sales colleagues.
Advise customers and internal sales colleagues on possible repairs/upgrades to bring back the operation of the boiler plant
Participate in customer visits and negotiations whenever needed.
Build-up relations with our internal sales colleagues in local Alfa Laval sales companies in the respective region.
Your profile and competences
We are looking for a colleague with a technical background as preferable a Marine Engineer - having knowledge about Alfa Laval boiler systems as well as marine field experience is an advantage.

You are natural driven by a flair for service and commerce and have a strong interest in creating rewarding relationships with both internal and external customers.

At a personal level your motivation and ability to analyse and achieve comprehensive and deep product knowledge is essential, combined with a well-organised approach to your tasks.  
You are outgoing, proactive and capable of handling many tasks and at the same time meet your deadlines.

Further, good written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, along with good understanding of Microsoft Office products.

You should expect 20 - 40 days of traveling on a yearly basis.
