Programme Technical Lead role. Are you ready to take on a major challenge with great responsibility?

LEO Pharma is joining a global fight against counterfeit medicine and fraud. We now need to apply unique coding “Serialisation” to each sales pack, report data to authorities and implement methods to exchange data across the supply chain. It is a multi-year, multi-million strategic project anchored in Global Product Supply. In your role as Technical Lead at programme level you will be a very important part of the project and when finished you will become technical subject matter expert in LEO’s Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) department.

Specifications, design solutions, project execution…
As Technical Lead you will have all opportunities to utilise and develop all of your skills in a seriously exciting job with major responsibility and great variety. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • provide technical and project management support to LEO’s local site engineering teams and to external partners
  • prepare specifications and design solutions for serialisation packaging line modules
  • assist with contractor management and liaison
  • plan and participate in commissioning and qualification
  • set standards for GMP documentation and align across sites, globally
  • participate in technical project planning and cost estimation

You can look forward to 5-8 travel days per month to meet colleagues and partners in Europe.

Pharma experience from technical projects in an international environment
You have a degree in engineering (mechanical or automation) and expertise within packaging technology, printing technology, vision systems, machine control or similar. Your previous career has provided you with some years experience from working with technical projects in an international, cross-discipline environment. It is an advantage if your experience is within pharmaceutical finished goods (production, technology or consultancy) or other life sciences industry. 

You are known for your pro-active and self-starting approach. Combined with your structured work approach it enables you to plan your own and other people’s work and get things finished on time. To succeed you must also bring an open mind and the ability to create results across geographical, cultural and professional borders. This also takes strong collaboration and communication skills including a solid command of Danish and English, written and spoken. If you also have knowledge of French or Italian it will certainly benefit your application. Finally, you have to be good at IT and especially MS Office.

Your new team
You will join approx. 30 dedicated colleagues in LEO’s Serialisation Project and be located at our headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. We have the responsibility for the modifications needed on LEO's production lines (on-line printing, vision and control systems), implementing IT systems vertically integrating production lines to SAP and changing associated business processes.
