App and Cloud Software Engineer

As an app and cloud software engineer, you will be part of the R&D department, researching, designing and documenting solutions for future Libratone products. You will participate in the entire product development process - from product definition to handover to production and support. Along the way you will work with highly skilled R&D, Product and Marketing colleagues.

The Libratone products and brand are all about creating an outstanding customer experience. We are constantly looking for new ways to take wireless audio to the next level by challenging existing app and cloud technologies. We need a software engineer who is enthusiastic about pushing app and cloud boundaries in the compressed space of ground breaking Libratone designs. We are also a challenger in the market, so we need colleagues who aren’t afraid to choose the less travelled path in pursuit of great results.

You will be a part of our R&D department in Skive, with colleagues in Copenhagen, London, Munich, Amsterdam, Santa Clara (CA) and Beijing. Located near the forest and the sea, our office has beautiful surroundings, and a friendly, social atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Design app and cloud software for Libratone products
• Help with visualisation of future products
• Spar with internal stakeholders during the product creation process
• Collaborate with your colleagues across working areas and regions

Qualifications:
Need to have:

• Solid commitment to quality in software development
• Experience commenting and documenting source code
• Strong knowledge of fundamental OOP concepts and agile structured methods
• Familiar with Android SDK
• Experience with REST API
• Good English communication skills
• Write clear, maintainable code

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud-based systems
• Experience programming embedded systems
• Your own already-published apps in Google Play Store
• Experience with content-based services
• Interest in new technologies such as IoT
