For our Material and Surface Treatment Laboratory we are looking for a test engineer who is enthusiastic about being part of validating the properties of our materials and details of our blade design.

What are my responsibilities?
As a test engineer you will be part of a highly motivated cross functional team, where your primary area of responsibility is the chemical lab.

Your assignments will include:

  • Test and qualification of epoxy resins, glass fibers and other materials used for blade production
  • Development of test methods, equipment and lab facilities
  • Specification, optimization, maintenance and calibration of test equipment and machinery
  • Setting up tests as well as counselling of and sparring with internal customers regarding tests
  • Contacting test laboratories, institutions and suppliers of test equipment and technologies in Denmark and abroad

 
What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a degree in Chemical Engineering or similar and have specialized or experience in test of polymers and/or glass fiber reinforced polymer composites
  • You have practical experience and knowledge of several of the following test methods: DSC, STA, FTIR/NIR, Rheology, Microscopy and especially GC/MS
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel. Beside this user experience in Minitab, LEAN and Six Sigma working methods will be an advantage
  • You possess an ability to develop smart and communicative visual presentations for an increased understanding and interpretation of test results
  • You are inventive, persistent and outgoing, and you have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments
  • You possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and you thrive in a dynamic and international environment
  • You have good English skills, both orally and in writing
