Teklatech A/S develops engineering software used by leading edge microchip companies worldwide. Our software is used in the process of designing nano-scale microchips for mobile phones, networking equipment, etc. Our advanced solution helps make the mobile/networked revolution possible! We are growing and need talented people to join us.

We are presently hiring two software engineers for our R&D team, to help develop our FloorDirector tool. FloorDirector is used by IC design engineers in digital ASIC Place & Route design flows. The main programming language is C++, and the place of work is our Copenhagen headquarters office, in a high transparency, agile project management environment.

English and Danish speaking applicants are welcome. The compensation package will consist of a combination of competitive monthly salary and stock options.

Your Qualifications
You have a solid background in C++ programming, with a relevant academic foundation. You enjoy working with data structure and algorithm design and have a particular interest within the field of optimization and simulation.

In summary, we are looking for a good match with the following list:

• Solid C++ experience.
• M.Sc or equivalent degree.
• Well founded in Linux/UNIX development environment.
• Experience with open source tools (e.g. gcc, boost, cppunit, svn, eclipse)..
• Committed, quality driven and self-motivated.
• Experience with test driven software development.

Further, interest and/or experience within one or more of the following areas is a clear benefit:

• Solid background in mathematics and numerical analysis.
• Advanced data structure and algorithm design.
• Electronics and VLSI domain knowledge.
• Experience with numerical libraries and analysis software.
• Experience of circuit theory and signal analysis.

The job
As a software developer at Teklatech you will be part of a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals, where commitment, independence, flexibility, as well as professional and personal development are keywords.

You will be involved in all aspects of the code and database development, from architectural level to implementation and testing. A high degree of entrepreneurial spirit and a self-driven personality is expected. You will take responsibility for developing advanced new features, optimizing existing data and code structures as well as responding to direct user demands. You will be working in close collaboration with our technical support team in Denmark and California, to ensure the best possible utilization and development of our technology.

International collaboration also occurs in European-level research projects, with both idustry and academic partners.
