Experienced .NET developer - with passion for the newest Microsoft technologies

NNIT continuous to grow rapidly and therefore we are looking for more .NET developers to join our Microsoft Solutions team to take up the challenge and develop business critical applications to some of the largest and most challenging private and public companies in Denmark.

You will be challenged on how to solve complex and demanding requirements from our customers and find the best solutions and combinations of technologies. We play with the newest Microsoft technologies and expect that you have the same passion for being on the forefront. 

Your responsibilities as .NET developer
As a .NET developer in NNIT you will have a good opportunity to use your analytical skills, technical creativity and good interpersonal skills in the job, since you work closely with our partners and customers that you advise regularly presenting results and collects information from.

You will work on solving projects which are developed primarily in .NET, TFS 2013, SQL Server and you will be working in global project teams using both on-premise as Azure cloud environments.

You work mostly agile (SCRUM) on projects and you are deeply involved in daily standup and sprint planning, demo, review and retrospective. We are constantly working to improve our agile working model by making the "Product Backlog" more "Ready", and ongoing optimization of the "Definition of Done" (DoD). We work continuously to improve the skills and composition of our SCRUM teams.

You will be part of our Microsoft Solutions team
You will be part of a team that has delivered significant public projects such as NemLog-In, borger.dk, sundhed.dk, Jobnet and retsinformation.dk, and currently working on a number of exciting projects to leading private companies and public organizations.

You become a valued employee in the Microsoft Solutions team, where we specialize in making large complex systems, often with many integrations to the public sector and private companies. We are about 75 employees in Microsoft Solutions and are growing extremely fast. We have a close cooperation with our sister branch in the Philippines and our Microsoft application maintenance team.

The team is part of the Solutions division responsible for advising our customers on business and technology as well as designing and implementing IT solutions and applications.

Your qualifications and experience 
You probably have a higher IT education such as graduate or master. As we are looking for more candidates you can have everything from 1-2 years’ experience and up to +10 years’ experience with .NET development. You have the right drive and passion for the development of more complex systems at the Enterprise level.

The technology stack includes:
C#, .NET (4.5),  MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, MSMQ, Web API, ASP.NET, MVC 5, Bootstrap, Knockout.js, AngularJS, CSS and JavaScript, TFS.

We don’t expect you to know all of these technologies and frameworks, but we expect that you are curious and learn fast. Experience with unit test as well as event driven solutions or mobile solutions will be an advantage but not a requirement.

You like to work both in teams and independently, and solve your tasks on time. You are analytical and proactive and therefore contacts customers with suggestions for improvements. If you have previous experience in a consulting role where you had customer contact it will be an advantage but definitely not a requirement.

You communicate both with our international colleagues and with our Danish customers. Therefore, it is essential that you are fluent in Danish and that you have good English skills both written and oral.
