Our client MPI Tech is an international group with local companies in both USA, France, Germany, UK and Denmark. They need a very experienced IT expert to have a key role in the IT department. You will be responsible for the IT systems and server administration as well as the maintenance of the IT systems.
In close cooperation with your colleague in France, you support the MPI Tech group worldwide.
Your corporate responsibilities (for all companies in the MPI Tech Group):
- IBM Notes/Domino, version 9 (used for email and many different applications)
- IBM Sametime (used as instant collaboration software including video and audio)
- Palo Alto Firewall - Site2Site VPN between MPI Tech Group companies and as client VPN (Global Protect)
- TrendMicro Deep Security and TrendMicro OfficeScan (used as AV solution)
- VMware vSphere 6.0 (the global setup was made by DK office)
- Worldwide support
Your local responsibilities in Denmark
- Windows server and AD/DNS administration
- Linux server and client administration (SLES11, CentOS and Ubuntu)
- VMware vSphere 6.0 administration at DK office, including vSphere Data Protection (used in backup solution)
- Palo Alto Firewall
- Symantec Backup Exec
- Windows Client administration
- IT Support to end users
- Linux support to the R&D department
- Network support
- Microsoft Office responsible
- Hardware purchasing
- Smartphone support
Besides working closely with your IT colleague in France, you will work closely with the colleagues within the local MPI Tech companies.
You will also take responsibility for ad hoc projects locally or corporate, from the idea to implementation, as well as optimizing the IT infrastructure in general.
Professional qualifications
You have a good IT education and at least five years of experience with similar responsibilities in an international organisation.
You must have knowledge of Notes, Windows, Linux, TCP/IP network, iPv6 and preferably Navision.
You speak and write Danish and English fluently.

You are self-driven, outgoing, service minded, flexible and a good team player. You work structured and determined with solving the tasks and you are good at working with several tasks at the same time.
Your IT curiosity and urge for educating yourself is dominating, and you are able to get acquaintance quickly with new technical areas.
A good sense of humor and a positive attitude towards challenges is an important skill as well.
