Project Manager, O&M

Metroselskabet is seeking a project manager who will manage the contract deliverables related to the operations and maintenance scope of the Cityringen project as a member of the Systems and Operations department.

The role will have primary responsibility for ensuring that the Operations and Maintenance contract requirements are satisfactorily delivered and that the contractors organization can perform adequately to support the successful launch of passenger service on Cityringen in 2019.

Metroselskabet has a project portfolio, currently having a value close to 40 billion kr. The main task concerns Cityringen, which is our biggest project, but also other projects such as Cityringens extensions to Nordhavn and Sydhavn and the new project "Letbane på Ring 3". There is also a significant project pipeline, which will be present, as these projects mature.

The Cityringen project has assigned the responsibility for the building up of the operators organization to the transportation systems supply contractor.  The role will be responsible for monitoring the development of the operators organisation and recruitment and training of the operators staff and ensure that compliance with contractual, legal and ethical requirements are achieved.

Responsibilities
The role is multi-disciplinary in nature and includes dealing with technical issues related to the supply of equipment as well as supervising the process for building up the future operating organization.

The position will be responsible for activities including the development of:

• Procedures; Training plans; Maintenance plans.
• Organization (permanent and during mobilization)
• Staffing, function descriptions and meeting structure
• Safety policy, safety case, configuration management procedure, safety organization, Safety certification, Quality Management System (of operators organization)
• Strategy for audits and inspections
• Environmental strategy
• Work environment (arbejdsmiljøstrategi) and CSR strategy
• Communication and Marketing Strategy
• Agreements on Salary and employment conditions for staff, including union agreements (Overenstkomstforhold)

The role shall also manage finalization of design and coordination of installation and documentation of Metroselskabets supplies to Cityringen: Ticketing (Rejsekort), Passenger Counting and the station clocks.  This will require some technical skills so the applicant should be comfortable managing drawings, specifications and the like.  Nonetheless, there is an active support network of technical specialists who can provide needed specialist knowledge.  Teamwork is essential so we seek a colleague with personal drive and positive attitude to create good cooperation and solutions.

Profile
It is crucial that you have a relevant higher education (a technical qualification is preferred) and have a proven track record in project management roles.

• Prior experience with managing IT or similar systems delivery would be considered an advantage
• Good written and oral communication in Danish and English

Metroselskabet is a publicly held company, so you will be placed at the interface between the public and the private sector.
