Alfa Laval Aalborg A/S is looking for a highly skilled engineer experienced in combustion technology & burner systems for our Product Centre Boilers. You will be a part of a motivated R&D team responsible for developing new combustion products in cooperation with sales, other Alfa Laval product centres and external strategic partners. Our product centre boilers strives to ensure future demands from customers are developed and implemented in our products.
Your tasks and challenges
As our new combustion engineer, your will be responsible for developing the platform within combustion technology & burner systems further. In addition to that, you will contribute in building up combustion technology knowledge in the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and introducing new technologies in our existing product portfolio, for instance, ensuring new fuels are introduced.
Your main tasks will be:
- The development of new burner concepts
- Introduction of new fuels
- Establishing an internal combustion technology network
- Technical authority handling
- Participation in project work with external & internal partners
Your profile and competences
- Solid combustion competences based on an educational M.Sc. level
- Knowledge in mechanical design. Further, thermodynamics, heat transfer & fluid dynamics
- Good communications skills in English will be needed in the job.
On the personal level, you have a strong drive and you are motivated and capable of achieving deep product knowledge combined with a well-organised approach to your tasks from beginning to end. You work structured and, at the same time, you are good at prioritising & planning in order to meet the deadlines. You will be a part of a development & commercial environment, therefore we appreciate your ability to create long-term stakeholder relations combined with your ability to cooperate with many different business partners in a large & complex organisation. Lastly, it is important that you thrive in an international environment with a high work pace.
