Twins Search & Recruitment are looking for a highly experienced and competent SAP BI Architect/Lead Developer for an interesting position in GN ReSound.
GN Resound is experiencing large growth and success in their markets and are therefore expanding their Business Intelligence team to be able to meet the increasing demands for SAP BI projects deliveries to their business units. They are looking for an experienced SAP BI Architect. As a SAP BI Architect, you will be part of a team of BI project managers, business consultants, developers, architects and external BI consultants. The team is globally responsible for delivering BI solutions to business units around the world.

The Job:
GN ReSound is currently using SAP BI 7.4 on HANA for group financial planning, consolidation and financial reporting (SAP BW, SAP SEM-BCS, IP, BEX-analyzer and Web application Designer, SAP Workbooks and SAP Web Reports).
The SAP BI Architect/Lead Developer will be the primary technical responsible for the SAP BI platform including SAP BI architecture and SAP BI technical solution design. In addition the architect will be responsible for the quality of the final product deployed to production and released to the business community. The architect will hence be responsible for designing and implementing a design, development, documentation and review framework, to insure quality in deliverables.
The SAP BI Architect/Lead Developer’s main tasks is to:
- Be main responsible for the SAP BI Platform, Architecture and technical Solution Design
- Be main responsible for minimizing SAP support requirements and for ensuring a good SAP end user experience, by delivering a high quality product that match requirements.
- Help business users and business consultants identify and specify new SAP BI solutions for improved financial consolidation, planning, forecasting and group financial reporting.
- Produce high-level technical design of new SAP BI solutions to meet the business needs and optimize business value.
- Ensure technical design of SAP solutions meets user requirements and are performing, stable, scalable, easy maintainable and complies with security policies.
- Deliver advisory to business managers and business consultants on how to benefit from our corporate SAP BI on HANA platform.
- Assist and advise SAP BI developers in the different project phases.
- Participate in development of new solutions on the SAP Platform.
- Continuously ensure that we utilize the potential of the SAP platform to provide business benefits
You will be challenged with the complexity of a truly global organization and in this context, you will need to navigate across cultures, across functions and organizational levels.
Travel:
Periods with more or less travel depending on the project phase must be expected. Yearly average travel time is expected to be 1-4 weeks, but varies with nature of projects and project phases. The primary locations are Denmark, United Kingdom, USA, China and Malaysia.
Your profile:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5-10 years of experience with SAP BI Architecture and SAP consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting projects either from a consulting company or from a larger organization. You possess a business-oriented mindset and have a clear understanding of business values. You hold a Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant area (IT, Engineering). You communicate easily in Danish and English.
You should possess the ability to:
- Ensure an effective, performing, stable and secure SAP Platform that continuously satisfy business needs
- Translate business requirements into SAP BI technical solution design
- Act as a valued SAP technical advisor for business managers and business consultants
- Demonstrate sound business judgment in balancing business value and IT cost & time
- Be able to communicate on different levels of the organization
- Be service oriented and effective
- Inspire business users and technical team
- Conceptual thinking but on the same time goal and solution oriented
- Structured and analytical with excellent planning and execution skills
- Design and develop new solutions based on the latest SAP design principles
