As a market leader in developing high quality products for the food analyzing industry, it is essential for FOSS to ensure that our instruments are always in accordance with the customer's expectations regarding performance, reliability and within the existing laws.
In our Quality department we have an open position as People Manager for Product Maintenance, and we are looking for a talented manager to lead the team which today consists of 12 dedicated and skilled engineers and technicians. You will in total have more than 30 other colleagues in the Quality department.
As People Manager you will provide leadership and co-ordination of the team, and you will be responsible for the people management, which includes regular performance management appraisals.
You will maintain an overview and oversee the team's contribution to the different responsibilities that we have. These consist of maintaining high quality on FOSS' existing products in the running production as well as supporting in New Product Introduction (NPI). Here you will also support the teams' activities on a technical level.
In the daily work you will work closely with other departments as; Production & Supply Chain, Product Innovation and Customer & Sales Support, and here you will be the coordinator for Quality related tasks and projects. Furthermore, you will have the responsibilities to maintain focus on achieving high job satisfaction in the team, both on a technical level but - just as important - also on a personnel level.
Qualifications:
You are an Electronic or Mechanical engineer or similar with interest and experience within HW development, Manufacturing and/or Quality Assurance. You have a minimum of 3 years of management experience and have a proven track record as a talented manager. Also, you have experience with working in project groups and are good at this.

Since corporate language is English, we expect you to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Danish.
