About the Company and Department
In line with PTD’s ambition to increase Project Competitiveness, we are looking a Global Project Manager - Supply to support the Global Program to increase supply chain efficiency through the development and implementation of cost optimizing projects.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are to identify, initiate and drive/follow through supply chain efficiency projects and monitor the global supply chain for the PTD project business.
The main tasks are:
- Driving reduction of purchasing costs
- Define and manage multiple supply chain projects that focus on cost efficiency / reduction with purchasing, manufacturing/assembly and logistics
- Monitor and analyze the impact of the global supply project portfolio through the Global KPIs to identify further opportunities
- Drive and/or support the implementation of Global Supply Processes
This role will provide exciting, global challenges across the E&S supply chain functions (Procurement, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Shipping / Logistics) and provides the opportunity to influence strategic focus areas within E&S Global Supply
Your profile and qualifications
You are preferably an experienced supply chain professional with a strong track record of delivering successful cost reduction projects at both global and regional level.
You have the proven ability to cut through complexity and identify opportunities through a structured approach and can build convincing business cases.
You are a self-starter that challenges the status-quo with a business mind-set that focuses on delivering results that add value to the bottom-line.
Your position
Based in Søborg but travel is required. This position will report to Global Supply Manager Sumit Pingle.
