NNIT continuous to grow rapidly and therefore we are looking for more .NET developers to join our Microsoft Solutions team to take up the challenge and develop business critical applications to some of the largest and most challenging private and public companies in Denmark. Right now we are focusing a lot on developing our team members within Mobility, Security and the services in Azure, so if you would like to venture on this journey then don’t hesitate to read on.

You will join NNIT who has just been nominated to Denmark’s third most attractive IT workplace and has grown by more than 1,000 people over the last four years. NNIT has delivered solid numbers every year throughout the crisis and has a very strong pipeline of exciting projects.

Your responsibilities as .NET developer
You will be part of a team that has delivered significant public projects such as NemLog-In, borger.dk, sundhed.dk, Jobnet and retsinformation.dk, and currently working on a number of exciting projects to leading private companies and public organizations.

As .NET developer you will work on solving projects which are developed primarily in .NET, TFS 2013, SQL Server and you will be working in global project teams using both on-premise as Azure cloud environments.

You work mostly agile (SCRUM) on projects and you are deeply involved in daily standup and sprint planning, demo, review and retrospective. We are constantly working to improve our agile working model by making the "Product Backlog" more "Ready", and ongoing optimization of the "Definition of Done" (DoD). We work continuously to improve the skills and composition of our SCRUM teams.

You will have a good opportunity to use your analytical skills, technical creativity and good interpersonal skills in the job, and you work closely with our partners and customers that you advise regularly presenting results and collects information from.

You will be part of our Microsoft Solutions team
You become an valued employee in the Microsoft Solutions, where we specialize in making large complex systems, often with many integrations to the public sector and private companies. We are about 50 employees of Microsoft Solutions and has close cooperation with our sister branch in the Philippines and our Microsoft application maintenance team.

The team is part of the Solutions division responsible for advising our customers on business and technology as well as designing and implementing IT solutions and applications.

Your qualifications and experience
You probably have a higher IT education such as graduate or master. As we are looking for more candidates you can have everything from 1-2 years’ experience and up to +10 years’ experience with .NET development. You have the right drive and passion for the development of more complex systems at the Enterprise level.

The technology stack includes:
C#, .NET (4.5),  MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, MSMQ, Web API, ASP.NET, MVC 5, Bootstrap, Knockout.js, AngularJS, CSS and JavaScript, TFS.

We don’t expect you to know all of these technologies and frameworks, but we expect that you are curious and learn fast. Experience with unit test as well as event driven solutions or mobile solutions will be an advantage but not a requirement.

Mobility, Secure programming and Azure takes up more and more in the solutions we create for our customers, so if you have experience in these areas or just eager to learn more about it then it will be a plus. The same applies if you have experience with acting as SCRUM master.

You like to work both in teams and independently, and solve your tasks on time. You are analytical and proactive and therefore contacts customers with suggestions for improvements. If you have previous experience in a consulting role where you had customer contact it will be an advantage but definitely not a requirement.

You communicate both with our international colleagues and with our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills both written and oral.
