Project Coordinator, Security Programs

Terma employs more than 100 people within R&D, sales and project management of Radar Sensor Systems for customers in the global market. The systems are used for monitoring vessel traffic in harbors, straits and coast lines as well as monitoring and controlling ground traffic in airports. Furthermore, we manufacture Radar Systems for shipborne surveillance and special airborne radars for surveillance of oil pollution at sea.

Your primary assignments 
As Project Coordinator for our radar supplies/integration projects, you will work closely with the responsible commercial project managers. You will support projects within ground-based as well as shipborne radar system solutions.

Your primary assignments will be systems definition for production preparation, integration, preparation of project specific documentation and technical support to our customers, directly or through in-house sparring with the relevant technology stakeholders. The projects vary in size and complexity and may be incorporate of a wide range of employees to cover all the professional and technical aspects.

You must be prepared for hectic working days in a dynamic environment. You must also count on international travelling 30-50 days per year.

Typical assignments 

• Participation in project hand-over meetings with the sales department 
• Ensuring correct system configuration, including handling potential challenges 
• Carrying out the technical part of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) 
• Setting-to-work and completion of Site Acceptance Test (SAT) 
• In-house and customer sparring on technical details 
• Back-office for field service engineers 

Your professional qualifications 

• BSc in Electronic Engineering or similar relevant education 
• Technical understanding to cope with a technical working environment 
• General and technical experience 
• Fluent in written and spoken English
